Driving from Norwich
Take the A1151 from Norwich following the signs for Wroxham. Proceed past Hoveton, and Beeston St Lawrence and continue until you reach the junction with the A149. Take the A149 to Stalham.
From Stalham take the A149 towards Potter Heigham passing the right hand turn towards Catfield. Take the next left hand turn into New Road and at the end turn towards Hickling. On entering the village continue along Heath Road and pass the Greyhound pub on the right and the cottage is a short distance down on the right hand side. There is a group of three cottages, Kingsley Cottage is the furthest of the three.
Directions from the A11/A47 Junction (on the outskirts of Norwich)
Follow the A47 signposted "The Broads/Great Yarmouth".
Keep on the A47 until Acle (not into town), keeping in the left hand lane and you will reach a large roundabout. Go straight over onto the A1064 towards Caister on Sea (right at this roundabout is to Great Yarmouth).
After about three miles take the B1152 signposted Martham/The Broads (this turning is on a sharp bend).
Stay on this road until you come to a T-junction. Turn left on to the A149 (signposted Cromer/The Broads). You will go past a boat yard on your left — carry on through Potter Heigham. Soon after, take the right-hand turn to Hickling which is signposted.
Keep on this road for about two miles (do not go to Hickling Broad). Go past the Greyhound Pub on the right-hand side, in approximately 100 yards you will come to a group of three cottages. Kingsley Cottage is the furthest of the three and is adjacent to a thatched cottage.
