With around 120 miles of waterways, one of the best ways to see the Norfolk Broads is by water.
But if you enjoy walking or cycling, there are lots of routes to choose from in the Norfolk Broads and along the beaches. Day boats and bikes can be hired from the "Wispering Reeds" at Hickling Staithe. The Weavers Way footpath route is also close by.
The skies are so clear and vast that it is also a perfect location for astronomers.
Norwich is only 35 minutes by car. There is a spectacular cathedral, castle, museums and theatres and for those who like shopping, many large stores, boutiques, markets and craft shops.
Great Yarmouth is also near by with its theme parks, crazy golf, zoos, museums and amusements. It has its own race course and there is greyhound and stock car racing every week at Yarmouth Stadium.
